Dipika Kakar plays the titular role of Simar in the show with Shoaib Ibraham playing the male lead. The two young actors are in relationship since long and are presently participating in the dance celeb show Nach Baliye 8.
Dipika was born on 6 August 1986. She is basically from Pune Maharashtra. Haivng got her education from the city of Pune, she went ahead to pursue a career in modeling and acting which fetched her first role in TV serials. She was first seen in the show Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi in 2010. This movie got her much recognition and opened up more chances for her accomplished career. This was followed by the show Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Ki jo on Zee TV. This was a popular show in which she essayed the role of Rekha.
