Bollywood is a Big Industry and everyone here working very hard so that they can be given good amount of pay and some of them have been gone Bankrupt and they just have to be there home or ask director for some role. Well Bollywood celebs have been working very hard for their movies and for living you surly need money and well these celebs went bankrupt. Bollywood celebrities’ bank balance has always been a topic of interest. But little do people know the amount of insecurity and uncertainty that comes along with it. One wrong decision, and all the money will disappear in thin air! Shilpa Shetty Kundra had once admitted to media that she was running short of money. This would keep her from making a video for her IPL team, Rajasthan Royals, as she was apparently “extremely poor”. When Abhay Deol’s home production ‘One By Two’ tanked at the box office, the actor was apparently having nightmares. The unfortunate incident led him to sell his house to repay the loan he had taken. He may be the Showman of the Indian film industry, but he has seen trying times too. Raj Kapoor’s legendary film ‘Mera Naam Joker’ tanked at the box office leaving him almost bankrupt. The child artist from ‘Makdee’, Shweta Basu Prasad, who is also a winner of National Award, once went bankrupt. The actress was recently in news for her alleged involvement in a sex racket, and reports doing the rounds around the same time claimed that she was running out of work and money. According to reports, Abbas Tyrewala, who was the dialogue writer of ‘Ishkq In Paris’, had filed a case against the actress regarding non-payment of dues. A cheque worth Rs 18.9 lakh had also bounced. The court had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Priety Zinta when she failed to appear in the court for the first time. Preity had even confessed that Salman Khan offered to help. Jackie Shroff suffered from bankruptcy when he had loaned money from filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala, but was unable to pay him back in 2008. Sajid wanted to resolve the issue through legal action, but apparently, it was Salman Khan who intervened in the matter and helped Jackie repay his debts. After his career in Bollywood, followed by politics, there came a point in Bollywood actor Govinda’s life, when he went bankrupt. Starting his film career again with ‘Partner’, Govinda managed to clear all his debts. Shahenshah’ Amitabh Bachchan faced financial issues when his company ‘ABCL’ was declared bankrupt. Apparently, there was a debt of over Rs 90 crore. The actor had even mortgaged his house, but the offer of hosting ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ saved the situation for him. Famous dialogue, “Itna sannatta kyu hain bhai,” had gone bankrupt at the age of 95. Reportedly, the actor found it difficult to meet his medical expenses, when celebrities like Jaya Bachchan and Salman Khan helped him to pay his dues.
