In the era where female rights are a hot topic, these female centric films are reflecting the India societal attitudes. 2016 came up with few female centric moves such as Neerja, Pink, Dear Zindagi. Although Kahaani 2, Sarbjit and Akira didn’t do that well. 2017 seems to be flooded with female centric films. ‘Padmavati’ casting Deepika, ‘Simran’ casting Kangana, ‘Naam Shabana’ with Taapsee Pannu, ‘Noor’- Sonakshi Sinha, ‘Haseena’- Shraddha Kapoor and ‘Begum Jaan’- Vidya Balan.
Altogether, we could see Bollywood industry is now ruled by women, and is no more a Male Dominant Industry!
