“Akshay Kumar is indecisive regarding Dara Singh’ Biopic”, says Vindu Singh
According to Vindu Dara Singh, the son of actor and wrestler Dara Singh, said that he approached Akshay Kumar for the biopic of his father, the accomplished and well known wrestler , Dara Singh. After Dangal has now tasted great success and become a nationwide craze, Akshay Kumar will be the third actor to play a wrestler with Salman Khan having played the role earlier.
It seems like a trend in Bollywood to make biopics. Going with the trend , there are makers planning to make a film on the legendary wrestling star, Dara Singh Biopic. But his son, Vindu , says that the biopic will be very much personal for him as it is his father’s and so he wants to make the way he likes casting the actor he likes. He also added that he chose Akshay Kumar for the role as he is a very hardworking person and he also suits the role of a wrestler. But Akshay , reported , has not given a reply to Vindu. Vindu says the actor is confused about it and hesitating perhaps because it will demand him to gain weight. Vindu has worked with Akshay Kumar in movies like Tees Maar Khan , Kambaqt Ishq and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Akshay Kuamr is currently busy with his new projects. Vindu also added that he would not let nay other maker touch the subject that the project is immensely close to his heart.
Dara Singh was popular as a wrestling champion, actor in films and serials. He has done a fairly good number of serials and films playing villainous, adorable and grandfather roles. He was known to be a very kind hearted man.
Despite of Dara Singh’s huge persona, unmatched strength, he was known among his costars as a man with a golden heart who would reach out to everyone in need.
