Mumbai: After John Abraham, Krithik Roshan and Aamir Khan, it could be Bollywood’s very own ‘khiladi’ Akshay Kumar who will tak the Dhoom legacy forward.
There have been rumours doing the rounds over the years about the Dhoom 4, the fourth part of the Dhoom franchise.
The film is expected to soon go on floors as it has been 7 years that the audience have been waiting for the next installment of the movie series. While there have been names like Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and every major actor of the Bollywood being considered for the role, it has been Akshay Kumar who is now reported to be bagging the responsibility of Yash Raj Film’s Dhoom.
If considered for the role, Akshay will have to live upto the expectations as the third installment from the franchise did unimaginable at the box office. There have been talks in the industry that Akshay might be finalised for the role very soon.
The reports that have flowed in the industry are all positive about the B-town khiladi kumar bagging the role. It is also been reported that Akshay will be playing a villainous role in the film and would not have any symathy angle to his character unlike Aamir Khan.
Akshay’s fans are going berserk with the news as #Dhoom4 has been trending on the top of Twitter presently.
The official announcement, however, is yet to be made by the makers.
Talking about other commitments, Akshay Kumar will have a busy schedule coming up this year as he will be seen next in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama film ‘Sooryavanshi’ opposite Katrina Kaif.

Akshay also has ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ in his kitty along with Kiara Advani.
The actor also has the period drama film ‘Prithviraj’ lined up in the upcoming months. The movie will mark the debut of Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar.
