These Movies Were Blamed To Be Copied!!
We had earlier wrote about how, despite several claims that it is, Ae dil Hai Mushkil is not Doosra Aadmi. Doosra Aadmi was well, about a widow finding out that a young man she is working for has a semblance to her dead husband, and is obsessed with him. This Yash Chopra produced film starred Rishi Kapoor, Raakhee, Neetu Singh and Shashi Kapoor in the lead. Incidentally Rishi Kapoor’s son, and Shahi Kapoor’s grand-nephew, Ranbir Kapoor plays the main lead in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, along with Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Fawad Khan plays an important supporting role, while Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in the film. Pritam scores the music for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and the title track and Bulleya songs are already topping the charts. The film is scheduled to release on October 28, but it’s not alone. It has a huge competitor in Shivaay, Ajay Devgn’s pet project that he has mounted on a lavish scale. However, the family audiences and couples would have a thing for Karan Johar and the romantic sagas that he has to offer. After all, even Student of the Year was a hit, despite being one of Karan’s weaker efforts.
So yeah … the trailer of the film has come out, and it cleared away speculations that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a remake of Doosra Aadmi, something Karan Johar has been insisting for quite some time.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
The ADHM trailer has clearly shown us that the movie has nothing to do with Rishi Kapoor’s Doosra Aadmi. More than Ranbir-Ash equation, it’s Ranbir-Anushka relationship that’s the spine of the film. Just because the hero is romancing an older heroine, doesn’t mean that it is Doosra Aadmi. Period.
