28 Years Of Salman Khan : Take A Look At His Underrated Movies

Salman Khan, the action hero of Bollywood, completes 28 years in the industry. He is one of the most loved actors and on this special day, his fans made it a point to wish him on Twitter. No! We aren't talking about his image as "Prem" in the 90s. There are many roles Salman had portrayed on but his image as the fighter overpowered them. Lets take a look at some of the films of Salman which were underrated : 1. Love Salman played the role of a rebellious man, Prithvi, in the movie which also featured Revathi Menon. It was a quite decent movie with the unconventional characters in love. Salman's character of an impetuous and resentful yet adorable Prithvi would make you fall for him. The chemistry between Salman and Revathi was so alluring and magical. The film had ended up as an average grosser. 2. Ek Ladka Ek Ladki In this film, Salman played the role of Raja, who seeks revenge from Renu, played by Neelam, due to an old encounter between them. Raja takes advantage of Renu's lost memory to teach her a lesson but eventually both of them fall for each other. This film about love and hatred is one of the underrated films of Salman Khan, wherein his performance was absolutely amazing. 3. Khamoshi : The Musical Khamoshi : The Musical was a musical love story which contains some of the best ensemble acting. Salman played the role of Raj, a musician, a bashful lover, who brings love and music into the life of Annie, played by Manisha Koirala, who is the daughter of a hearing and speech impaired couple, played by Nana Patekar and Seema Biswas. Playing the role of a lover, Salman outshined in the film and if you watch it, you won't say that Salman cannot do a romantic love story ever again. 4. Phir Milenge This film touched on the subject of AIDS. Salman played the role of Rohit, the college sweetheart of Tamanna Sahni, which was played by Shilpa Shetty. The film wasn't successful at the box office but the performances were appreciated by the audience. Salman, though played a small role, did full justice to the character he portrayed on the silver screen. 5. Baaghi : A Rebel For Love In this film, Salman played the role of Saajan, who would go to any extent for his love. He falls in love with a girl, Kajal, played by Nagma, who is an innocent victim of prostitution. The film shows how Saajan, trapped between the societal rules and his family who do not accept his love, rescues his love from the brothel along with his friends. What an intense Bollywood romantic drama!
