Dil Se is a tragic love-story with a backdrop of terrorism and insurgency in Northeast India. The film revolves around Amar, played by Shah Rukh Khan, Moina/Meghna, played by Manisha Koirala, and Preeti Nair, played by Preity Zinta, who made her debut in Bollywood in this film. The film shows how intensely Amar falls in love with Meghna, the terrorist, and loses his own life. The drama and the emotions have been very well brought to life on screen by Shah Rukh, Manisha and Preity.
As the film completes 18 years today, Shah Rukh recreated it in his own special way. He shared a video on Instagram thanking the team of Dil Se. The video shows how special the film is to him.
