Allison Williams, who plays the beautiful but socially inept Marnie on Girls, is the daughter of NBC anchor (and publicly disgraced lying machine), Brian Williams. Her dad, formerly one of the most trusted people in the country, was recently exposed lying about his experiences as a foreign news correspondent. He said, amongst other things, that his helicopter was taken down by a rocket-propelled grenade. Years later, the people whose helicopter was actually taken down came forward saying that Lyin’ Brian got to the scene in an untouched chopper an hour later. Embarrassing… But before all of this, he used his celebrity clout to get his daughter into showbiz.
