Before Tamasha movie, Imtiaz Ali also directed a musical movie entitled ‘Rockstar’. The core of the story was about painful love where Ranbir Kapoor played the Rockstar character which was supported by female lead Nargis Fakhri. Ranbir did shine in the movie but Nargis failed to impress the audience. In totality, the film was met with mixed reviews where certain section only praised the movie. The movie was actually beautifully directed.
