10 Movies That Were Loved By The Audiences But Didn’t Do Well At The Box Office

We all know there are about some good movies which obviously do well at the box office, and then we come across some bad movies which actually fail to perform well at the box office. So it is crystal clear that the good movies are actually fair enough to perform well at the box office. Then there are some movies which are having the bad script as well it doesn’t well written too but still, surprisingly those movies perform well at the box office. Sometimes it is surprising to see that some movies are having the great script but it still fail to perform well at the box office. Maybe those movies are having high thought to provoke script which is far away from mass people to understand it so obviously those movies doesn’t work. So this can be common reasons why those higher standard movies are ignored, and even sometimes forgotten. But some of these movies can be considered as gems, and we know that some person can easily recognise the gem inside a coal mine once after having an opportunity, and then those worth movies will be received what it deserves. Those movies are listed below which can be considered as gems: 1). The Big Lebowski: “That rug really tied the room together.” The Big Lebowski is just a well-scripted movie with an everlasting plot but sad common public failed to understand it and obviously, the movie failed to perform well at the box office. It collected $17 million only where areas the production budget of the movie was $15 million in the United States, eventually the film status cult classic status. 2). Andaaz Apna Apna: “Galti se mistake ho gaya!” Andaaz Apna Apna is a superb movie with amazing comic timing and humour by which the film is enough to make use even laugh today but stunned to see the movie flopped at the theatre. It is interesting to see Andaaz Apna Apna was well received in the TV after its world television premiere. 3). Drishyam: “Har pariwaar mein kuch aise raaz hote hai … jo na khule toh hi behtar hai” It was a big surprise to see that Drishyam failed to prove its worth on the box office which is really sad to see. Though the movie praised by the critics for its brilliant thrilling as well Tabu’s performance was just impressive. Maybe we aren’t really ready for cool movies like this one yet. Revolver: “The greatest enemy will hide in the last place you would ever look.” A movie with a bit of a complicated plot, so obviously it is failed to perform well at the box office. Indeed the movie is actually having an everlasting plot which gives it superb feedback. My Wife’s Murder: Anil Kapoor and Boman Irani deliver a realistic performance in the movie. And due to the Anil Kapoor’s star value audiences are aware of the movie but surprisingly the movie did not perform well at the box office too, though My Wife’s Murder is having a good plot. Lakshya: It is really bad to see the failure of the Lakshya which is very rational kind of movie and certainly any age group can connect with the movie. So Lakshya can come in the category of Swades like despite having good script maybe those movies are lacking the mass values. The Shawshank Redemption: It is one of the most inspiring movies which is enough to motivate everybody. But despite having a beautiful story The Shawshank Redemption failed to perform well at the box office. Children Of Men: “As the sound of the playgrounds faded, the despair set in, very odd, what happens in a world without children’s voices.” It was also an amazing movie with a superb story but common people did not understand the movie so it also flopped at the box office. Parzania: The story revolves around a Parsi family who became the victim of the Godhra riots in Gujarat. The son of the family goes missing which break the whole family. So the film focuses sensitive like Godhra riots and was not really well received at the box office. Chameli: ” Aapko ajib lagta hoga naa saab, matlab do mard ek saath? Jo bhi ho, jaisa bhi ho bas pyaar hona chahiye.” Kareena Kapoor played the role of a prostitute but still, it was just a beautiful story. Rahul Bose also played his role perfectly, and it will be interesting to know why the film bombed at the box office.
