Yuvraj’s family is a firm believer of a religious preacher – Baba Ram Singh. And Baba Ram Singh has suggested that the new bride must change her name from Hazel Keech to Gurbasant Kaur. And as per the Baba’s directions, Hazel did the same.

And this didn’t go down too well with Yuvraj’s father. He said that he does not believe in anything what baba says and how can changing a name have some effect on the future. He added that how changing a name can change anything about Hazel’s personality, her culture, traditions or anything else about her. He further added that for him Hazel will be only Hazel and she will now be called Mrs. Hazel Yuvraj Singh. He didn’t comment anything on the marriage other than his displeasure over changing Hazel’s name.
