Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is all set for her upcoming film ‘Begum Jaan’. The film is based on the lives of displaced women living in the Brothel during the Partition era. As the story seems very different from the mainstream films and we know Vidya Balan is the apt choice for it. At latest, the makers have announced the release date of the film and we are very excited to know that the film will be releasing in January 2017.
Directed by National Award winner Srijit Sircar, this film promises to showcase the dark lives of Brothels during the partition times. Interestingly, this film has such a good cast that you will surely gonna love it. ‘Begum Jaan’ stars Naseeruddin Shah, Rajat Kapoor, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Ila Arun, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Chunky Pandey in titular roles.
Recently, Vidya Balan wrapped up the shooting of her another film ‘Kahaani 2’. A few days back, Vidya was even diagnosed with Dengue but she is all normal now.
According to Milind Dabke, Head, Play Entertainment, “‘Begum Jaan’ is a high-voltage denouement, a strong women protagonist commercial cinema, created by master craftsman Srijit Mukherji. We will have a wide release on January 6, 2017.”
Vidya Balan’s ‘Begum Jaan’ is all set to release on 6 January 2017.
