Vicky Kaushal all set to team up with ‘Dhoom 3’ director Vijay Krishna Acharya for a comedy film!
After giving high voltage action movie ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, Vicky Kaushal is now roped up by Yash Raj Films in their next untitled film, which is supposed to be a comedy movie. YRF is likely to announce a series of projects as a part of their 50th anniversary and this YRF Project 50 will include some big-budget movies with top stars.
According to reports, the actor is currently in talks with the makers and once everything falls into place, the movie will go on floors soon. It will be Vicky Kaushal’s first big budget comedy movie under this banner.
Vijay Krishna Acharya, who is directing this movie, has previously worked on films like ‘Dhoom 3’ and ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal has few projects in his hands, like Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Sardar Udham Singh’, director Meghna Gulzar’s biopic ‘Sam’ which is based on Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw, Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’ and Aditya Dhar’s ‘Ashwathama’ are some of many projects that will have the actor in the main lead.
If we talk about Vicky’s career in Bollywood, he made his debut as an Assistant Director with ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. After this, Vicky played a small role in ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ but got real recognition from 2015 film ‘Masan’. Since then, the actor has been winning hearts with his stellar performance in movies.
