Veteran Actor Vinod Khanna Dies At 70
Bollywood Veteran actor Vinod Khanna passed way at early morning in Mumbai. He was admitted to a Mumbai-based Hospital after severe dehydration. Recently, there were rumors about his untimely death but it turned out as a hoax. But this time, it is being confirmed that we have lost one of the gems of Bollywood cinema.

He started his career in Bollywood in the late 60’s and made his debut with 1968 film Mann Ka Meet. At the early stage of his career, he has received a lot of negative offers to play. One of his best negative role till date is Jabbar Singh character in Mera Gaon Mera Desh.
Soon after that, he received offers as the main lead hero and has worked in movies like Mere Apne, Imtihaan, Inkaar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Lahu ke Do Rang, Qurbani, Dayavaan, Jurm and many more. He has often being starred in multistarrer movies with Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra.
It is being reported that he was suffering from cancer but his family has refuted all these reports. He was a politician and Member of Parliament from Gurdaspur, Punjab. He was the one who has brought Hema Malini into the politics. Talking about his demise to a leading news channel, Hema Malini says that it is a heartbreaking moment all of us. He is the one who has brought me into politics and teaches a lot many things.
In his 5 decades-long film career, he has worked in over 100 movies. He was the most sought actors in the 70’s and 80’s. He is survived by his wife Khanna, sons Akshaye, Rahul, Sakshi, and daughter Shraddha Khanna. Vinod Khanna was aged 70.
