John Abraham will play footballer Sibdas Bhaduri in ‘1911’, in a biopic to be directed by Shoojit Sircar. The film is based on Bhaduri, who captained Mohun Bagan in the1911 IFA Shield Final, where they defeated the East Yorkshire Regiment with a to become the first Asian team to win the illustrious competition.
The film will reportedly release in 2018.
