Devoleena Bhattacharjee who is popularly know for role of ‘Gopi Bahu’ which she essayed in recently went off-air star plus popular long run show- Saath Nibhana Saathiya. Mostly audience have seen draped in saree though her Instagram account show us another version of her, a bubbly next door girl version. Now that her show Saath Nibhana Saathiya has went off-air, finally actress have time for herself. In her this break time Devoleena Bhattacharjee transformed into Hot Bong Bomb. Talking about her recent bold photo-shoot, Devoleena was quoted saying, “It just happened. There were no plans and all of a sudden I decided to get a photo-shoot and though I was a bit nervous it was beautifully pulled off.”
On being asked about does she transformed her look to get rid of her traditional Gopi bahu image, Devoleena said, “Why do I need to break the image, it can survive in its own way. Gopi is a fictional character and I was extremely lucky to play it. But in reality, I am Devoleena and I like being me.”
When asked about the feedback she received for her bold pictures, the actor laughed to say, “Surprisingly I have only got positive responses. My family, friends and fans have always showered me with love and support, which really motivated me to do this. I am forever thankful to them.” 
There are many actresses like Dangal girl Fatima Sana Sheikh, Disha Patani, Deepika Padukone who were slut shamed on social media after they posted their bold pictures. In the case of Devoleena she is pretty lucky that she didn’t faced such trolls. Talking about slut shamed topic, Bong beauty Devoleena said that, “I think there are some people who use social media to share all their negativity around. I feel if you don’t like something ignore and avoid it. That’s easier rather than spewing negativity. If one can’t motivate at least don’t discourage someone.”
Asking if in future is she is offered bold roles will she do it, Devoleena said “I would need to know more about the role and scene before I decide.” 
Talking about the future projects, Devoleena shared, “I haven’t really planned but yes I would be open more to roles of my age.”
Though she is a big name in television industry today but do you know her first appearance on television was not as an actress. She was first noticed when she auditioned for the dance reality series Dance India Dance season 2.
In June 2012, Devoleena bagged the role of ‘Gopi’ which was originally played by Giaa Manek and she turned to overnight star.
