Tushar says Bollywood is Harsher on Insider. Says they….

In a recent interview, actor Tusshar Kapoor reflected on Bollywood’s challenges for insiders, stating that even those born into the industry constantly have to prove themselves. Kapoor, set to appear in Dus June Ki Raat: Chapter 2, advised star kids to brace themselves for scrutiny, noting that “being a Bollywood insider is often harsher.”

He shared, “There’s always an effort to downplay what you’ve achieved and highlight what you haven’t.” According to Kapoor, while industry connections might make it easier for insiders to secure opportunities, they are often held to higher standards, making it challenging to gain recognition purely on merit.

Kapoor explained that while outsiders may face hurdles in breaking into the industry, they are often celebrated more openly, even for small achievements. “Getting that first break might be easier for insiders, but everything beyond that relies on talent, on-screen presence, and marketability,” he noted.

The *Golmaal* actor also mentioned that industry insiders undergo a continuous process of validation. “We must pass various tests to convince people we’re here on talent, not family ties,” he explained. Kapoor believes audiences only seek entertainment, not the backstage dynamics or biases that insiders face.

Reflecting on his career, which began with his 2001 debut in *Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai*, Kapoor noted the highs and lows that shaped his journey. He acknowledged that both successes and setbacks played a crucial role in his growth. Without those challenges, he said, he wouldn’t have reached his current place in the industry.

Tusshar concluded by noting that resilience is essential in Bollywood, adding that anyone unable to handle the field’s ups and downs might struggle to find longevity in this profession. For him, these fluctuations are necessary for personal and professional development.

Tusshar emphasized that staying grounded and persistent is key to surviving Bollywood’s unique demands.
