Naseeruddin Shah & Kalki’s brilliance is ‘Waiting’
If you are a cinema aficionado and you have already loved stalwarts’ actors Naseeruddin Shah, Rajat Kapoor’s parallel cinema movies. Then there is a good news for all of you as the legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah is back with a movie entitled ‘Waiting’. The trailer of the film ‘Waiting’ has been launched lately and it gives us a very good feeling when we see the ensemble cast of the film.
Isn’t that a good combination of actors in the film that stars Naseeruddin Shah, Rajat Kapoor, Shabana Azmi and Kalki Koechlin together? I feel, this film will surely work out. It’s definitely a low budget movie but the story seems very poignant. Waiting is based on the story of two different individuals who are waiting in the hospital watching their relatives suffer in Coma. The two are aimless but it is the crisis situation that creates a bond between the two and hopes for the best to happen.
Kalki Koechlin is one of the best method actors in the country. Whatever she does, she does with sheer brilliance. She always maintains a balance between her films. She had mesmerized audience with her tom boy ‘Aditi’ look in commercial film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and on the other side, she literally shocked us with her riveting performance as Cerebral Palsy patient in ‘Margarita With A Straw’.
The National Award winner actor Naseeruddin Shah needs no introduction, he is by far one of the best actors the country have. When he hits the screen, he makes sure the films comes out brilliantly in the final outcome. We can’t wait to see him again!
Directed by Anu Menon, the film deals with love, hope, patience and sacrifices in life. The film is set for release on May 27.
