Many people who love to watch Star Plus’s popular TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ might not be able to watch much of Naksh (played by Rohan Mehra) and his on-cousin Gayatri aka Gayu (played by Kanchi Singh) as the makers of the show have decided to sideline their track in the show.
It is a bad news for the people and the reason for this sideline is utmost surprising. According to the reports, both of them play on-screen brother and sister, but in real life they are apparently dating each other. Rohan and Kanchi have denied the reports from the beginning.
The channel warned the couple to lower down their PDA as the viewers of the show is a little conservative and the imagination of reel life siblings romancing in actual life might not be accepted by the audiences.
Despite the warning, their Instagram photos are much a proof of their brewing chemistry and romance. The more Rohan and Kanchi become open regarding their feelings, the more clash will be there with their image made on the show. It was not liked by the channel that there is no effect of their warning and they decided to downplay their track.
They got warnings by the channel whenever both got candid during real time interviews, but due to repeatedly taking the warning lightly, this action was taken up the channel. The channel has decided to give highlights to the track of Naira (played by Shivangi Joshi) who is Naksh’s sister.
Will the change in prominence affect the TRPs, does it increase the TRPs or not, we have to wait for it.
