And the patience was answered in November last year. With this film came Aamir Khan in a new avatar. As Inspector Surjan Singh Shekhawat, Aamir changed his look and physique to fit the stature of the role. Like always, Mr Perfectionist did not turn any stone unturned to make this film as strong and unique as possible. And it did turn out to be a surprise package for the audiences. Ask those who went and watched this film.
Aamir introduced a completely new genre and even made a point of not revealing much about it. A complete surprise package, ‘Talaash’ did well at the box office and received critical appreciation as well. Featuring Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor in the lead
roles, ‘Talaash’ proved to be one of the finest directions of Bollywood by debutante director Reema Kagti. A true gem we say!
