The film needs a mention as one of the top romantic films of Shahrukh Khan because he plays the role of Surinder Sahni (not the attractive Rahul or Raj though one of them comes back later) who wears a non-descript attire, talks hesitatingly, drives his scooter carefully and is a government employee. In short he is far off from romantic hero of the big screen. How he wins his battle over his another avatar of Raj (there you go again) who doesn’t sport a moustache, wears gaudy tees, flashy glares and has sporty hairstyle, forms the story of the film. The film should be watched for the amazing portrayal of two opposite characters, especially the part of Surinder Sahni enacted excellently by Shahrukh Khan.
