1. Bombay Velvet
This Anurag Kashyap film was made at a budget of Rs 125 crore and had a loss of Rs 100 crore. Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer movie miserably tanked at the box office.
2. Kites
Director Rakesh Roshan spent Rs 150 crore in this movie but unfortunately, even the international star Barbari Mori who was opposite Hrithik Roshan couldn’t save the movie.
3. Love Story 2050
Producer Harry Baweja hired special VFX team from Australia and New Zealand but due to its baseless script, it became a big flop at the box office.
4. Raavan
It was Mani Ratnam’s comeback which he made on a budget of Rs 100 crore but it lost more than 50% at the box office.
5. Mangal Pandey
It was a 35 crore movie for which Aamir Khan changed his look to get into the skin of Mangal Pandey but it tanked at the box office.
6. Blue
This multi-starrer movie was made on a whopping budget of Rs 129 crore. Despite expensive actions, underwater scenes , etc. it failed to make business.
7. Aag
This is the biggest mistake of Ram Gopal Verma till date. He has given the biggest flop by making the remake of Sholay.
8. Saawariya
This 40 crore film was the biggest dud in Bollywood. It was Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor’s debut movie but despite of luxurious sets, songs, new pairing the movie failed to woo the audiences.
9. Shaandar
The trailer and songs of the movie were quite impressive but it badly tanked at the box office because of the senseless script
10. Drona
This 87 crore film of Goldie Behl left many disappointed and it failed to make good business at the box office.
11. Ajooba
Making a movie in 8 crores and that too in the year 1991 is really a big deal. This superhero film that had Amitabh Bachchan was a box office bomb and after this Shashi Kapoor had to close his production house.
12. Besharam
This movie was an utter disappointment for Ranbir Kapoor fans. It was made on a budget of Rs 85 crore but it earned only 35 crores.
