The film being a low budget one, left a mark on Bollywood industry. The film starred some of the great actors- Naseeruddin Shah, Ravi Baswani, Om Puri, Pankaj Kapur, Satish Shah, Satish Kaushik, Bhakti Barve and Neena Gupta. The climax of the film was unmatchable. 2) Hera Pheri The 2000 Hindi comedy film that starred Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty and Tabu. Hera Pheri is one of the best comedy films in India. The iconic film directed by Priyadarshan is a remake of a Malayalam film Ramji Rao Speaking that came out in the year 1989. It’s sequel Phir Hera Pheri was released in 2006. 3) Golmaal The Hrishikesh Mukherjee film earned many awards. The 1979 film has also been remade later in 2006 followed by its sequels. The movie has won the hearts of many by its classic comedy. 4) Andaz Apna Apna One of the hit movies of all time that starred Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor and Paresh Rawal. The movie was a cult comedy and we can’t wait for its Part 2. 5) Munnabhai M.B.B.S The strong friendship of Munna and Ciruit shown in the movie is something which was lovely to see. Boman Irani’s comic timing was great, and the entire story of Munnabhai M.B.B.S had us laughing hard. It came out to be one of the best comedy films of the century. 6) Padosan Produced by Mehmood Ali and directed by Jyoti Swaroop, Padosan was another comedy hit that left its mark in the industry. The movie starred Sunil Dutt, Kishore Kumar, Om Puri, Saira Bano and Mahmood. The movie got released when Bollywood was coming out of its golden era. 7) Chupke Chupke Chupke Chupke was a remake of the Bengali film Chhadmabaeshi. Another Hrishikesh Mukherjee hit comedy starred Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Utpal Dutt, Sharmila Tagore and Govardhan Asrani. It was a really nice family comedy experience. The entire film had several doses of laughter. 8) Hero No.1 There are many David Dhawan films with Govinda that are humorous. But the movie Hero No.1 has stunned us with its amazing high level of comedy that it includes. The 1997 film starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead roles. 9) Angoor The film had double roles played by Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma. The film was all about chaos and confusion that was funny to watch. The movie was directed by the film director, lyricist, screenwriter, producer, poet and author Gulzar. 10) Delhi Belly This Indian Black Comedy was directed by Abhinay Deo, that released in the year 2011. The movie largely seemed to be appealing to the urban viewers. It was a mixture of crime, drama, comedy as well as chaos, that was portrayed hilariously. It starred Imran Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Vir Das, Poora Jagannathan and Shenaz Treasurywala. Bollywood is truly blessed with directors that has given us such hilarious movies, so we can forget our worries for a while and have a great time watching these movies.
