After making his debut in Band Baaja Baaraat in 2010, Ranveer Singh has emerged as one of the finest actors currently working in Bollywood. From Padmaavat to Simmba, he has proved that he can play any characters to perfection. His last film Simmba earned more than 500 Crore Worldwide. He also got hitched to Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone in 2018.

Currently, he is busy in the promotion of his latest flick Gully Boy directed by Zoya Akhtar, where he’ll be seen romancing Alia Bhatt for the first time. The trailer and songs of the movie have already sky-rocketed the excitement level of the moviegoers.

In 8 years of his film career, Ranveer has grown tremendously as an actor. He has played all kinds of characters making his way to the hearts of millions of fans. However, very little is known about his life before his Bollywood debut.

Ranveer Singh worked as a copywriter in an ad agency before making his debut in Band Baaja Baraat opposite Anushka Sharma. At the beginning of his career, he was working in an ad agency rather than Bollywood. He has worked in two of the finest ad agencies O&M (Ogilvy and Mather) and JWT.

Simmba actor revealed this shocking fact in one of his interviews. As a copywriter, he has worked on big brands like Pond’s, RTI act and Mattel.
