With the industry rallying around Akshay Kumar one by one to promote his upcoming film Rustom, the craze for the film has grown manifold. From Salman Khan to Ranveer Singh to even Fawad Khan, Rustom has been promoted on social media by almost everyone. However, only we didn’t know that the biggest wish was still in store for the team!
Remember the whole of South India going on standstill a couple of weeks ago for a reason? Well, the reason himself has come on to wish Akshay Kumar all the very best for Rustom. Yes, we’re talking about none other than the superstar Rajinikanth!
The Thalaiva who’s not quite known for being too active on twitter, especially wished Akshay for his film. Here’s what Rajini tweeted:

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar are also doing a film together which is probably why the actor wished him as a generous gesture of being supportive of a co-star. However, looking at the kind of support Akshay has been able to garner from all over the industry, it wouldn’t surprise if he himself asked Rajini for his help.
Akshay and Rajinikanth would be seen in Shankar’s 2.0 which is a sequel to his blockbuster Endhiran. At the moment, Akshay has got all the reasons to be happy! May be the film will now find some way through in the south region as well!
