Tassnim Sheikh SLAPS Abhishek Malik On ‘Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi’ Sets!

Things are getting pretty heated up on the sets of Nivedita Basu’s Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi. If the constant aggression between Suman (Sonali Nikam) and Ranveer (Abhishek Malik) wasn’t enough, the drama went a notch higher when Sindoora (Tassnim Sheikh) slapped Ranveer. Not once, not twice but FIVE times! The mother-son duo was shooting for an intense scene, where Abhishek got slapped five times in real to get the real emotions. ABHISHEK WAS QUOTED SAYING,

“As an actor, you need to feel what you’re trying to emote. I wanted to get slapped in real so that the scene had the right conviction!”

We can’t wait for this interesting, intriguing and dramatic episode to telecast on Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi, Mon-Friday, 7.30 pm on &TV. The series is produced by The House of Originals of Nivedita Basu (Imani – The Divine Spark, It’s For Life and Sunrise). The series is aired on weekday nights.

&TV’s ‘Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi’ is about Suman, a young widow, gets married to her arch-rival from college under very unusual circumstances. She struggles to settle into her husband’s home and strike a balance between her two mothers-in-law. The female lead of the serial, Suman, is played by Sonali Nikam who was last seen in ‘Aadhe Adhoore’ on Zindagi channel. the male lead, Abhishek Malik, who plays Ranveer in the serial has been seen in various reality shows. Malik began his career by winning the Mr. Delhi title in 2009, and went on to walk the ramp for designers like Manish Malhotra and Rohit Bal. Abhishek started his acting career with Colors TV, ‘Chhal-Sheh Aur Maat’ playing the role of parallel male lead. He just the auditioned for Chhal-Sheh Aur Maat and was selected for the parallel male lead role. He quit the show because he wasn’t happy with the way his character was progressing. He was also seen in the show ‘Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat’ which aired on Sony entertainment Television.
