Deepika Padukone to endorse jewellery brand Tanishq

Actress Deepika Padukone has been named the brand ambassador of jewellery brand Tanishq.

“My relationship with Tanishq goes back many years to when I used to visit the Tanishq store in Bangalore with my family. I’m happy to say that by shopping at Tanishq over the years we have celebrated a great relationship and now with this association, it is truly a marriage,” she added.

The “Piku” actress has been roped in as she is the “face of the Indian woman who is confident and progressive,” said Deepika Tewari, general manager – Marketing, jewellery division, Titan Company Limited.

“She is a woman of today who knows what she wants and makes her own choices, and at the same time is rooted and values relationships which is a mark of true progressiveness,” added Tewari.

As brand ambassador, the 29-year-old star will bepart of several campaigns and will make appearances at events around the world, adding pieces from Tanishq’s jewellery collections to her distinctive looks.
