Arjun Kapoor Reacted To The Criticism, Over Bhagavad Gita Reference In India’s Most Wanted

Arjun Kapoor’s next movie ‘India’s Most Wanted’ looks promising and Arjun Kapoor is seen in a completely different avatar in the thriller directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. The trailer of the film dropped earlier today and has received a positive response from the critics as well as the audience.

The teaser of the film released last month and that too had intrigued the fans but there was one dialogue in it that had faced criticism from a section of the audience. In the teaser, a faceless terrorist touted as India’s Osama was seen citing a quote from Bhagavad Gita to explain the body and soul connection to justify human killing.

Arjun Kapoor reacted to the same and said, I am not a Hindu. I am not a Muslim. I am an Indian. We are all Indians who are making this film. Therefore, we are putting our country and humanity before anything. This film is about people who don’t think about religion, caste and creed. I do not want to discuss that and give it importance. We would rather want to discuss the work of our intelligence bureau.

He further added that the film is about people who don’t think about religion, caste and creed. And doesn’t want to discuss it further, he would rather discuss the work of the intelligence bureau.

Taking about the trollers and criticizers on social media, “It’s easy for people to type things on the computer sitting at home. But do they go and put themselves out there? People use words to rationalise thoughts. People use religion to make others think in a certain way. We are making a film that is pro-Indian”.
