Singer Anuradha Paudwal’s son Aditya Paudwal loses his battle to kidney failure at 35

Legendary singer Anuradha Paudwal’s son Aditya Paudwal breathed his last on Saturday. The 35-year-oldwas suffering from Kidney disease, which became the reason for his death.

According to media reports, the music arranger and producer was hospitalised as he was suffering from kidney-related ailments and was not well from the past few months. He is now survived by his singer mother Anuradha Paudwal and sister Kavita Paudwal.

The young artist was very fond of his mother and wanted to write a composition for her. Aditya, in one of his interviews, had shown his respect and love for his mother Anuradha Paudwal, “She has made a mark in devotional music. People still get moved by her performances. I have seen people’s lives changing after listening to her devotional ‘aartis’ and ‘mantras’. I would like to come up with a composition for my mother.”

Mourning the demise of the very young talent singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan took to his Facebook account and wrote, “Devastated hearing this! Our dearest Aditya Paudwal is no more !! Just can’t believe this! What an amazing musician and a lovely human being !! I just sang a song which was programmed by him so beautifully two days back! Just can’t come to terms with this !! Love you brother … miss you.” On the other hand, music composer Kaushal S. Inamdar tweeted, “Aditya Paudwal passes away. Such a talented guy. We talked about working together. The opportunity never came by. I’ll always rue that. May his soul attain sadgati.”

For the unversed, Aditya had also worked for the movie titled ‘Thackeray’ in which he worked as a song arranger and producer for ‘Saheb tu’ for the film based on the life journey of Shiv Sena founder, the late Balasaheb Thackeray. Aditya in an interview had revealed about the epic scale of this 72-piece orchestra song that was recorded in one go in the studio.

The young artist had revealed, “When I was working with (composers) Rohan-Rohan on a Marathi film’s score, they had mentioned to me about this song which they wanted on a epic scale with symphonic kind of an arrangement. This song basically shows the journey of Balasaheb Thackeray.”

We give our condolences to the deceased family and extend our support in this time of immense grief and sorrow. Aditya’s untimely demise surely has left a void in the music industry.
