Happy Birthday to Emma Watson, Turns 26 Today

Emma Watson, who better known for playing the character of Hermoine Granger in Harry Potter Franchise, turns 26 today. In such a small age, she already made her mark by working in major Hollywood movies. On the occasion of her Birthday, she is getting the best wishes from across the globe. As fans really love her for her eponymous role she essayed in the Harry Potter series.

She debuted in Hollywood arena in 2001, with movie ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’, which became an instant hit. Instantly, fame hugged her and she became a household name. Since then there was no looking back for her, she played the same role of Hermoine Granger in the remaining Harry Potter movies.

The year 2011 came as a turning point in her career, where she was roped in to essay the role of Lucy in critically acclaimed flick ‘My Week with Marilyn’. Soon after that, she started getting other roles in films like ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’, ‘The Bling Ring’, ‘Regression’ and ‘Colonia’. The actress is currently busy with her upcoming film ‘The Circle’, which also stars Tom Hanks, John Boyega, Karen Gillan and Jimmy Wong.  The 25-year-old actress is currently set to star in forthcoming Disney’s adaptation of ‘Beauty and the Beast’, which is slated for a 2017 release.

Emma was born in Paris on April 15, 1990. At the age of six only, she realised that she wanted to become an actress. She got trained at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a part-time theatre school where she studied singing, dancing, and acting skills.
