8 Bollywood Films That Made A Real Fool Out Of Us

There have been unconventional years for Bollywood were movies of listers failed to perform instead low budget films and newcomers came and went away. Bollywood had delivered numerous flops last year like any other year but last year was different.

There are movies with so much appreciation. We can now turn our attention to the bad ones and just say, there are certainly films that defy logic.

On April fool’s day 2019, here’s a look at the films which went by without much buzz.

Thugs of Hindostan (2018)

The film works on the familiar template of revenge drama, trying hard to save grace by generating humour through Aamir s Firangi Mallah. However, in totality, Thugs of Hindostan doesn’t even ponder on the prospect of offering anything new.

Race 3 (2018)

Want to destroy a totally decent action thriller franchise? Drop the original directors and hire Remo D’souza. Even exploding SUV’s could not provide the film with some semblance of entertainment.

Ishaqzaade

Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor pulled off a good one in Ishaqzaade. Not here. Not even close.Going commercial at the cost of script is not advised.

Dhadak (2018)

Sairat set benchmarks for love stories in Indian cinema. Sadly, Bollywood could not only step up to the task with a glossy remake in the form of Dhadak.

Zero (2018)

Despite having Shah Rukh Khan in the lead and the deluge of promotion, the film ended up a massive flop. Zerop garnered a good opening but bad word of mouth ensured that the film didn’t stand the test of time.

Gold (2018)

Akshay Kumar’s lustre is fading away one film at a time. Gold was one that failed to impress, as per Kumar’s standards.

Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se (2018)

Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se that came 5 years apart from the middle one, could have done better with some more time, if that is what the writers director wanted.

Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018)

This film starred Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor and was directed by Shree Narayan Singh who had previously directed Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Despite having good content, this film stumbled at the box office because of bad word of mouth.
