Popular comedian Sunil Grover back in the news and this time for supporting Sonu Nigam. Recently, Sonu Nigam has targeted morning Azaan by calling it forced religiousness and gundagardi. His comment has received a flak from the Twitterati, who trolled him for the wrong reasons.

Recently, Sonu Nigam tweeted, “God bless everyone. I’m not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India. And by the way Mohammed did not have electricity when he made Islam.. Why do I have to have this cacophony after Edison? I don’t believe in any temple or gurudwara using electricity To wake up people who don’t follow the religion. Why then..? Honest? True? Gundagardi hai bus…”
Sonu Nigam’s statement has put him in the limelight to the media. He got thrashed on social media for his statement hurting the religious sentiments. Well, there are many celebrities who came in favor to support him but few are against to it.
