Star Screen Awards 2016: A Star Studded Affair!

Every year, Bollywood bestowed its love on the lovely actors and actresses. Yes, Bollywood showers its love and blessings on the various characters in the film industry in the form of awards. 2016 have just started and what a kickstart start of the year for the Bollywood celebrities! Star Screen Awards 2016 was held recently and was a star-studded affair with all the glamorous celebrities sashayed the red carpet. it was indeed a candid moment for the stars like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kabir Khan to name a few as they have bagged awards for their outstanding work in 2015. The handsome actor Ranveer Singh’s stellar performance in Bajirao Mastani won him the best actor award, which he shared with Amitabh Bachchan who got it for amazing performance in Piku. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Best Special Effects Recently Bollywood is also trying its hands on special effects. we came to see many films having special effects scenes presented in a very innovative and creative way. the Life of Pi, Bahubali to name the few. this year, Bajirao Mastani, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali bagged the title for Best special effects. 2. Star Screen awards 2016 - Best Dialogue Dialogue is said to be the life of film. The throwbacks of sentences captures the minds of audiences. This year, Piku, an amazing Bollywood film grabbed the award for Best Dialogue. Piku starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan has interestingly captured the minds of audiences with the stellar performances. 3. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Lifetime Achievement Award A lifetime achievement award is given to the celebrity who has wholeheartedly entertained the industry with his acting skills. This year the one and only, the best actor, Rishi Kapoor has given this award for his dedication in B-town. 4. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Best Female Playback Singer The cute girl who made her debut of playback singing in the hit movie Race in 2008, "Khwaab dekhe", "Zara Zara Touch Me" were enormously successful. The best songs are compliments for film and the voice of singer fills life in it. The star screen rewarded Monali Thakur as the best playback singer of year for Moh Moh Ke dhaage from the film Dum Lagake Haisha. She also sang in couple of films like Golmaal Returns, Billu Barber. 5. Star Screen Awards 2016- Male Playback Singer The Male playback singer award goes to Anaraag Mohanta aka Papon for his melodious voice in song Moh Moh Ke Dhaage. He is the composer and record producer from Assam. He is the lead singer and founder of the folk-fusion band called Papon and The East India Company. 6. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Best Director The director of the film directs the film in such a way that it attracts the audiences. We have amazing numbers of directors in the Bollywood. This years big hit was Bajrangi Bhaijan, directed by Kabir Khan, receives the Best Director award for the fantastic theme of the film. 7. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Best Film (Popular Choice) In the popular choice category, this year, Bajrangi Bhaijan grabbed the award for the best film. the cinematography, the theme, the songs, the casts and the cute little Harshali Malhotra was the center of attraction in the film. 8. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Best Film (Jury Choice) The Jury choice award for the best film this year was presented to film "Talvar". Irfaan Khan starred film was a big success and really the best choice selected by the jury members. 9. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Jury Choice Best Actor (Male) The jury choice best actor male award was given to Irrfan Khan for his tremendous performance in Talvar. The actor himself is one of the best actors in Bollywood. 10. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Jury Choice Best Actor (Female) She came, She conquered the world... Yes, the cute faced Kalki Koechlin, grabbed the best actor female award for her mind blowing performance in "Margarita with a Straw" 11. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Best Supporting Actor Bajirao Mastani was superhit film in Bollywood. The casting of the film was absolutely awesome. Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai was best suited for the role. She grabbed the best supporting actor award for her multi talented role in the film. 12. Star Screen Award 2016 - Popular Choice Male Who would be the popular choice male to grab this award? any guesses? well, its none other than Shahrukh Khan for his best performance in Dilwale. The "Gerua" song is one of the best songs shot in scenic and picturesque locations. Do you love this song? 13. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Popular Choice Female The Popular Choice female award was received by Deepika Padukone for her outstanding performance in Bajirao Mastani. Deepika played, Mastani in the film and she was admired by everyone for the role. 14. Star Screen Award 2016 - Best Actress Once again Deepika Padukone grabbed the award of best actress. Indeed, she is one of the beautiful, charming as well as talented actress in film industry. She is the best suited choice for this specific award. Her mind-blowing performances in Piku, Bajirao Mastani and Tamasha to name the few were absolutely excellent. 15. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Best Actor Well, Ranveer Singh's stellar performance in Bajirao Mastani won him the best actor award, which he shared with Big B who got it for Piku. A must watch films, indeed! 16. Star Screen Awards 2016 - Best Story The Star screen award for the best story was grabbed by Bajrangi Bhaijan! The Salman Khan production film has already entered 300 crore list and the best film of the year.
