The upcoming multi-starrer movie, ‘RRR’ of Southern filmmaker SS Rajamouli has got a new release date. The flick will mark the presence of noted Bollywood actors including Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt.
Ajay Devgn, took to Twitter and informed his fans that ‘RRR’ will now be released on January 8, 2021. He posted, ‘#RRRMovie releasing worldwide on January 8, 2021. Mark the date! #RRROnJan8th @ssrajamouli @tarak9999 @aliaa08 @OliviaMorris891 @DVVMovies @RRRMovie’

Earlier, the movie was expected to hit the theatres in July 2020 but now the date has been pushed to next year. The makers of the movie also shared this news on micro-blogging site Twitter. They wrote, “Your love and support have made all our hard work and hectic schedules worthwhile! We are working round the clock to give you a cinematic experience like never before. And with a huge worldwide release planned, we have had to postpone the date of release.”

It is to be mentioned that the principal photography of the movie began on November 19, 2018 in Hyderabad and the shooting was expected to be wrapped up by March 2020.
‘RRR’ stars actors Ram Charan Teja as Alluri Seetharamaraju and Jr NTR as Komaram Bheem in the lead roles. Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will also be seen sharing the screen space in this much-anticipated movie.
It is said that the multi-starrer period action movie is based on in the pre-independence era.
