Interestingly, Prabhas was approached for the movie and the makers asked him for 18 months date. Prabhas knows that the movie will take more time for the making and we know that it took five years to complete the movie. SS Rajamouli also said, “In fact, he was so much into it, when I asked for his dates for one and half year for this film, he laughed and said you can never make this film in one and half years and he kept himself free for three and half years. In the end, it took five years to make it and he was there for us.”
He finally concluded, “I mean we took Anushka or Sivagami or Kattapa, we took the actors based on the characters that were written, but with Prabhas, the character was written for him.”
On the collection front, Bahubali 2 has collected 392 crores in just 14 days in Hindi version collection. With this Bahubali 2 becomes the highest grossing movie by beating the likes of Sultan, PK, and Dangal.
Helmed by SS Rajamouli, the film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah Bhatia, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan and Nassar in key roles.
Overall, Bahubali series has entertained the fans across the world.
