SOTY 2 actress Tara Sutaria reveals why she turned down Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh

SOTY 2 is much in news for the young and amazing star caste of the movie including Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria! Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria, the newbies are making their debut in the Bollywood Industry with SOTY 2! Although for Ananya Pandey this was the first opportunity of venturing into Bollywood, Tara Sutaria had earlier received an offer that she turned down! It was Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh that was offered to Tara Sutaria before SOTY 2 but the actress turned the offer down!

Talking about the same, Tara Sutaria said, “It didn’t work out because we had so much left to shoot in SOTY 2, but I am glad I did Marjaavaan soon after. I’d even started training for it in London but SOTY2 was on, and there was a lot happening here. Still, training with everyone there was a lifetime’s experience while SOTY 2 is a dream come true.” But this is not the first project that the actress rejected. She had even stopped her training midway while being roped in for Guy Ritchie’s Aladdin, she came back to India for SOTY 2.

Kabir Singh is the Hindi Remake of the South Movie Arjun Reddy! Student Of The Year 2 is directed by Punit Malhotra and is a sequel to the 2012 movie helmed by Karan Johar.
