Two weeks back, Sonu Sood attended a workshop held in association with Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) and Hothur Charitable Trust helping them raise awareness of skin banking for acid attack survivors.
Continuing his association with the noble cause, the generous actor has decided to take time out from his busy schedule and travel to different cities creating awareness of skin banking.
Source close to Sonu says, “Sonu feels it’s very important to create the awareness because in smaller cities and towns, people have no access to skin banking. Unfortunately, most people don’t even know about the concept of skin banking. We need to create that awareness among the people. So, the actor has decided to travel to several cities providing them information about skin banking and how important it is to have these skin banks where acid attack survivors can be treated properly.”
