Sonam Kapoor is one of those actresses in Bollywood who is very outspoken and opinionated. This time she has taken a dig at the President of America, Donald Trump. In her recent tweet, she has called him ‘imbecile’.
It so happened that Ellen DeGeneres shared a picture on Twitter that read: “The President has quietly started allowing elephant and other hunting trophies into the US. I’m saying it as loudly as possible: This is appalling. We need to raise our voices and make this stop.”

On this tweet, Sonam wrote, “More Hunting is illegal in India, one of the things the world can learn from us! Trump is an imbecile! @potus #proudtobeindian #preserveourworld.”

This is not the first time the actress has taken a jibe on the President. Earlier also she slammed him for calling Meryl Streep an “over-rated actress” and also dubbed him a “joker”.
She tweeted, “Okay, India isn’t in such a bad way… This person(referring to Trump) is a joker… at least our leader has a semblance of intelligence.”

On the professional front, Sonam will be seen in ‘Veere Di Wedding’ that is slated to release on 1st June 2018. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar.
