Sonakshi Sinha is all set to return to the silver screen after staying away from the limelight for more than a year with her upcoming action-thriller movie ‘Akira’. Directed by A.R. Murgadoss, the movie reveals a whole new avatar of the actress and will beating up the guys who crosses her path.
In her previous films, Sonakshi has portrayed a lot cooler roles and with the movie she is all set to perform a makeover. The 29-year-old actress went a hardcore rigorous training to transform herself for the role and everyone will be able to see the results on September 2.
After the release of two posters and a fully fledged trailer, Sonakshi’s Akira has created quite a rage as she is shown as the girl that fight back on being forced and pushed to the threshold.

The movie is the official Hindi remake of 2011 Tamil hit film Mounaguru and stars Anurag Kashyap as the villain as well as Konkona Sen Sharma in the pivotal roles.
