Needless to say, rumours that Bollywood’s sweetheart Alia Bhatt will step into Kareena Kapoor Khan’s shoes for Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal film series’ fourth iteration, ‘Golmaal Again’, created a stir among Bollywood fans and followers since they were first announced.
However, if recent media reports are to be believed, it’s Shraddha Kapoor and not Alia who will be playing the female lead in the flick. Though, the speculations are not confirmed, the good news is that the usual star cast including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade will remain the same.
As reported by an insider, Shraddha has bagged the role of the female lead in the madcap entertainer, for which Alia was reportedly in talks earlier.
According to sources, Rohit is also keen to cast a younger hero in the movie. Though, the director hasn’t divulged information about his choice of the leading lady for his flick, he recently spilled the beans that Kareena might do a guest appearance in his film. The highly looked forward ‘Golmaal Again’ is expected to release on Diwali 2017.
This will be the eighth time when Ajay and Rohit will be teaming up. Earlier, the two have collaborated for ‘Zameen’, ‘Golmaal’, ‘Golmaal Returns’, ‘Singham’, ‘All The Best’, ‘Golmaal 3’ and ‘Singham Returns’. We wish the duo and the entire team of the movie strokes of luck for their project.
