The most ambitious of Vikramaditya Motwane, ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ has lost its track several times and is stalled due to the changes made in its cast. At first, it was supposed to be started with Imran Khan in the lead, but later on the lead actors kept on changing and names like Sidharth Malhotra, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
It was moving to be getting listed as one of the movies that got lost in translation. But finally it is greenlit getting the lead as Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor. This will be actor’s second film after making his Bollywood debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s upcoming film Mirzya.
The start of the film is a great thing for the director as he claimed that the film has been shelved at a recent interview when questioned about Bhavesh Joshi. He stated that Bhavesh Joshi’ is not happening. I think time has changed. It was a film, which I wrote at the peak of the Congress government and about all the things that were wrong then, not that everything is right, right now.
Announced about 3 years ago in 2013, the project is now on floors and back on track. Actor Harshvardhan Kapoor shared a pic on his official Instagram account from the shoot of the film that shows the start of the shoot in the quirkiest way.

Bhavesh Joshi narrates the story of a guy from Gujarat, who saves people and is on a mission to fight the uprising corruption in the country.
