‘She Has Got Grace, Courage’: Hina Khan on Priyanka’s Grammy Awards Outfit

Mumbai: Television actress Hina Khan has come forward defending Bollywood’s Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra, who was recently targeted by the trollers for her outfit at the Grammys 2020, stating that it needs a lot of courage to wear such clothes.

The 62nd edition of the Grammy Awards 2020 took place last month in the United States where Priyanka Chopra went in wearing a custom Ralph & Russo design, which featured a plunging neckline and also included diamond-adorned pieces.

Mrs. Nick Jonas’s dress, however, caused quite a stir because of its neckline that extended beyond her navel. While the dress was admired by many, there were also the people who targeted the former Miss World for their trolling fun.

The Bollywood actress, who ealier got her mumma Madhu Chopra’s back, is now being defended by Television star Hina Khan. Hina, during an interview, stated that no one has the right to comment what one should or shouldn’t wear. She stated that what Priyanka wore needed courage and elegence to be carried.

“Who are you to comment on somebody’s clothes if they are comfortable? I have been telling people that I challenge you to wear that outfit for ten minutes. Its not easy to wear such an outfit. Its not an easy breezy, flowy, covered outfit that you can just pose and do stuff in. It is a tricky outfit. You got to have elegance, grace and courage to wear such an outfit,” said the TV actress.

Hina, herself, is gearing up for her Bollywood debut with upcoming movie hacked. The actress would be showing off her acting skills on the silver screen soon.

The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame had ealier bonded with Priyanka Chopra at the Cannes Film Festival 2019 event. The two actress had also walked the red carpet on different occassions at the same event.

Hina’s Bollywood debut movie ‘Hacked’ is a Vikram Bhatt directorial which will hit the screens on February 7.
