In the recent past, Padmavati was being shot in Rajasthan. It was then, the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was hit by the local Rajput community people as they were against the romance between the lead. Soon after that, the sets were prepared in Kolhapur in Maharastra. And, now this is the second most unfortunate incident happened.
In the film, Deepika Padukone is essaying the role of Rani Padmavati. Apart from that the film also stars Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji and Shahid Kapoor as Ratan Singh.
Overall, this kind of incident will really shift the release date but the good thing was that there were no human injuries. Let’s see how the makers take the case forward!
