Shahid Kapoor Says, Fire Incident At Padmavati Sets Is Unfortunate

Shahid Kapoor, who blessed with a baby girl Misha, is finally back on the work. His recent film Ragoon sank down to the ocean bed and just manage to rake 24 crores at the Box-Office. Well, he is all positive for his upcoming film Padmavati but things are not happening in the way it has to be. As recently, the sets of Padmavati caught fire in Kolhapur and it is believed that there were unidentified men behind them. Lately, Shahid Kapoor spoke about it and called this incident as an unfortunate one.

Shahid Kapoor was a part of Nykaa Femina Beauty Awards, where he said,

“I am aware that there has been some disruption that has happened. I am aware that a certain amount of costumes got burnt. I am aware everybody is safe and nobody got harmed. The shooting has wrapped up and the team is coming back. What I am not aware of is who has done it. It is unfortunate that something like this has happened for the second time. As soon as there is some clarity, the production house will respond to it. No principal actors were there.”


It was believed that 500-odd unidentified man vandalizes it but putting the set on fire. The makers have filed a complaint about it.

”Filed a complaint against miscreants who vandalized our costume & jewelry and set it on fire Padmavati. No loss of life, no one seriously hurt on a vandalized shoot of Padmavati,” said makers.
