Those who don’t know much about Sahir Ludhianvi then must read till the end. As, Sahir’s real name was Abdul Hayee, who is known for being relationships with many women in the 50’s and 60’s era. His relationship with poetess Amrita Pritam was one of the serious ones. Apart from that, he was also being tagged with actress-singer Sudha Malhotra. He contributed in Bollywood in a big way, he bagged the first Filmfare award for his work in Tajmahal in 1963. He also won the Filmfare award again for his lyrics in Kabhie Kabhie movie. Due to his drinking and smoking habits, he died at the early age of 59.
