Shah Rukh Khan Had Asked Aamir Not To Work With Kajol. Here’s Why!

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are one of the most loved on-screen pairs of Bollywood. There's not a single cinema fan who doesn't drool over them when they create magic on-screen. They are like the golden on-screen pair in B-Town. We all know about the friendship between Kajol and King Khan. They are absolutely inseparable buddies in the industry. But not many of us know that things weren't the same initially. Shah Rukh wasn't fond of Kajol when they started working together and he even warned Aamir about it. While talking about his first impression about Kajol, King Khan stated, "When I was working with her (Kajol) in Baazigar, Aamir asked me about her as he wanted to work with her. I left him a message saying, ‘She is very bad, no focus, you will not be able to work with her’. And then I saw the rushes in the evening. I kept calling Aamir to clarify. I told him, ‘I don’t know what it is but she is magical on the screen'". Well, this shows how inspiring Kajol is and how dedicated she is towards her work. Even Kajol recalls memories of their budding friendship back then. She revealed, "I remember Shah Rukh and other actors had a huge hangover when they came on the sets and I was jabbering away in Marathi to his make-up guy. They were like ‘what is that voice. It is going to split open our heads’. He was very grumpy but I kept chatting and finally he said, ‘Will you please shut up… chup ho jao’. I think that’s how we became friends." SRK and Kajol share an extremely good rapport even today. They are one the of the best examples of friendship in the Bollywood industry. Shah Rukh had said, "I am not very talkative in personal life. Kajol will have an upper hand when it comes to talking over all of us. Even now, I have to tell her to ‘shut up’." It seems that nothing has changed between them in these 20 years. But both of them have become better actors and better persons as well. While talking about their friendship today and whether they have changed or not, Kajol stated, "I hope we have. I don’t talk any less. We have become better actors and better people. I always say he is one of the best actors that we have today. It is a joy to work with him and a learning process." Well, it is hard to believe that things hadn't started off on a good note initially between the two actors but both of them are amazing actors and friends now. They were last seen together in Rohit Shetty's Dilwale. The film didn't work well at the box office but the enticing chemistry between the two gathered much appreciation from their fans.
