Tubelight is about Indo-China war where Laxman’s (Salman) brother goes missing and he goes in search of his brother played by Sohail Khan. In the teaser, Salman says that faith is like a tubelight, it takes time to light up but when it does, it illuminates everything around it. The film also has Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and child actor Matin Rey Tangu. Shahrukh Khan is playing a cameo role and late Om Puri is also a part of the movie.
As per reports, Tubelight has already earned a profit of more than Rs 100 crore. The distribution rights of the film are sold for Rs 132 crore and also a Chinese company has bought the theatrical rights of Tubelight for Rs 75 crore. As per prediction Tubelight will easily enter the 200-300 crore club but will it be able to beat the records of Baahubali 2? That we can’t predict. Let’s wait and watch for its release.
