Salman Khan Starrer Kick 2 Will Release Next Year Salman Khan’s blockbuster movie of 2014, Kick is all set to get a rocking sequel and to our wonder, the film is supposed to be going on the floor next year. The producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala said that they are working on the script of the second installment of Salman Khan’s Kick.

Kick was a tremendous success though it was an official remake of a Telugu movie of the same name and also the debut venture of Mr. Nadiadwala as a director of a film. The action film, starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez turned out to be a blockbuster of 2014.

Seeing the notable results of the film, the director and producer have decided to go for the sequel and they are hoping that Kick 2 would also get same success. Wherein, the sequel would be the fresh script and not the remake.

The filmmaker told to media, “We are still writing. It’s in a scripting stage. It will mostly happen in next year. There is a pressure, but we are working hard on the script”.

Salman’s character of Devi Lal Singh from Kick became quite popular with its punch lines. Devi Lal was a highly intelligent but adventurous man who is always looking for a ‘Kick’ in his lines and hence the writers are brainstorming hard to come up with a strong character for the upcoming sequel.

The original action drama had Jacqueline Fernandez as leading lady although the Dabangg Khan had announced that Kick 2 will have a fresh pairing and that Jacqueline won’t be a part of the sequel.

Buzz is, Dilwale Star Kriti Sanon has bagged a lead role in Kick 2. Indeed this newbie has got her dream role and she will be seen romancing with Salman Khan. Earlier there were reports that Singh is Bling actress Amy Jackson was approached for the female lead but unfortunately she was not available because of her another commitments.

The Dabangg Khan will be seen playing a double role in Kick 2 and both his characters will be contrasting from one another. Currently Salman Khan is busy shooting for his upcoming movie Sultan where he is teaming up with Anushka Sharma for the first time. Sultan is all set to clash with King Khan’s Raees on Eid this year.

Whereas the Director-producer Sajid Nadiadwala has an interesting slate of films lined-up for release as a producer like Baaghi Starring Tiger Shroff and Sharaddha Kapoor, John Abraham and Varun Dhawan’s Dishoom, Vishal Bharadwaj’s Rangoon and the third sequel of comic caper Housefull.
