So Salman Khan DID NOT Remove Arijit Singh’s Song From ‘Sultan’!? Then Who Did ?
However now, a leading tabloid has reported that an actress was heard saying it was Aditya Chopra‘s decision and not Salman Khan’s.
Here’s what the actress had to say:
“Why is Aditya Chopra letting Salman Khan take the flak for the Arijit Singh controversy? It wasn’t Salman who had Arijit’s song ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ dropped from Sultan. It was a creative decision taken by the production house. Contrary to what Arijit keeps harping about, the actor has moved on long back. He’s not petty and would never play politics with somebody’s career. All it would take is a statement from the production house to clear Salman’s name in this matter. But he is not the kind of person to tell them to do so.”
Earlier, Arijit also wrote about how Salman Khan had apparently banned him from all his movies too. The singer expressed how much he pleaded with the superstar to keep his song, but the makers went on and released Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s version of ‘Jag Ghoomeya.’
So turns out Aditya Chopra and not ‘Sultan’ Salman was behind the decision to drop Arijit’s song from the film.
